Beckhoff EK1100 EtherCAT Coupler, a key component in industrial automation systems.
Function:
This coupler acts as a link between the EtherCAT protocol at the fieldbus level and EtherCAT Terminals (like the ELxxxx series). It converts Ethernet 100BASE-TX telegrams into the E-bus signal representation used by the terminals.
Connectivity:
It features two RJ45 sockets for network connection, allowing for further EtherCAT devices to be connected in the same strand via the lower socket.
