This fieldbus coupler connects the I/O modules of the WAGO I/O System to the PROFIBUS DP fieldbus.
Operation:
During initialization, it identifies the module structure of the connected devices to create a process image within PROFIBUS.
Features:
It supports optimizing addresses by grouping I/O modules with bit widths smaller than 8 into one byte. It also allows deactivating I/O modules and modifying the node image to match connected signals without altering the existing application.
