This is a 1-channel communication interface terminal designed for connecting devices with RS422 or RS485 interfaces.
It allows these devices to communicate with an automation unit via the EtherCAT coupler.
The communication channel can operate in full or half-duplex mode at up to 115.2 kbaud, independently of the higher-level bus system.
